Minimum Fee

The minimum charge is $500 an hour minimum of two hours. If the meals served total less than the minimum deposit paid you would not owe anything further.  If the meals served equal to more than the minimum paid we will invoice the balance the days following the event.

  • The staff to serve your event
  • The entrees & sides 
  • Biodegradable plates and utensils

For the minimum fees listed to the left you may choose up to three entrees to be served. The entree selection is between the following 

  • Chicken Yakitori - $10.00
  • Teriyaki  Steak - $10.50
  • Kalua Pig - $11.50
  • Garlic Shrimp - $11.50
  • Poke (raw fish similar to sushi) - $13.00
  • Fish Tacos (seasonal) - $9.50

All entrees are served with Hawaiian style white rice and Island Mac Salad. 


A fourth or fifth entree may be served for a $100 fee for each additional entree to be served.

Additional items you might consider for your event are listed below. These items must be pre-ordered as we do not carry them on the truck unless specifically requested to be served at your event.

  • Aloha Maid Hawaiian style juices are great for children or mixed drinks at $2 a can.
  • Lumpia spring rolls make a wonderful addition to each plate for $1.5 each.
  • Hawaiian or Pineapple fried rice.
  • Ambrosia salad


The cost of these additional items do not apply to the minimum fees, and are an additional cost.

If your event will involve young children we recommend our Mochiko Chicken plate. Mochiko Chicken is an Asian style chicken nugget with various dipping sauces.

Offering Mochiko Chicken could come out of the three entrees or may be added as additional entrees.

Vegetarian dishes such as Vegetable stir fry or Somen noodles are available if you will have vegetarian guests. 

Gluten free guests can enjoy our Garlic Shrimp or Kalua Pork without cabbage. Advise gluten free guests to request NO MAC when placing their order.

Offering either of these dishes could come out of the three entrees or may be added as additional entrees.

  • Please advise ahead of the event if you would like To-Go containers provided to your guests. To-Go packaging will be billed at $1 per plate. If you prefer we not offer your guests To-Go packaging we will not carry it on the truck to accommodate guests.
  • Depending on the location of your event there may be a travel fee to cover the salaries of staff and energy cost to travel to your location.

Departure Times

  • BHG will arrive approximately 1 hour ahead of the scheduled service time. This time is spent setting up and cooking the selected proteins so we are prepared to serve your guests on time. 
  • Ahead of our arrival ensure the truck's  parking spot is clear and prepared for our arrival. This will make the best use of our time and keep your meal service on time.
  • The truck will require approximately 25' of level ground free of overhead limbs.

  • Approximately 30 minutes prior to the end of service we will shutdown our cooking equipment to prepare for our departure. During this time we will continue to serve your guests however additional cooking may not be possible. 
  • At the prearrange end time we will quietly close our service window and leave without further contact with the host. This is to avoid disruption of the host's primary obligation to entertain. 
  • Any balance due will be billed the days following the event.

  • It's common for guests to be engrossed in the socializing aspect of the event and miss the dining period. In an effort to stay within your budget it's best to advise your guests what the dining time frame is so they are not caught off guard.
  • We would not be so rude as to close the order window on your guests. If needed we will continue to serve past the agreed upon end time. Because there is a $200 fee for each half hour past the agreed upon time it's best for the host to begin advising their guests 30-40 minutes ahead of time to be sure to take advantage of the truck.

All events will include a 15% gratuity that is distributed throughout the staff equally. No portion of the gratuity is taken by ownership.

 BHG reserves the right to cancel without recourse in the event weather conditions will be below 40 degrees, or above 93 degrees.  


The reason for this requirement is due to food safety reasons, and the health of our employees. Both are grave concerns which are often over looked. BHG takes both our guests and our employees health very seriously.

Yes. BHG is proud to say we have earned a 4 Star rating from Green Dining Alliance. All meals will be provided on biodegradable plates along with biodegradable utensils. If you have opted to provide your guests the option of To-Go packaging there is an additional fee as our To-Go packaging is also biodegradable and not always stocked unless requested.


The fees for our truck to be on site are not based on food cost. It is our experience that at the end of the service if the host requests the balance in food we could easily extend the time into additional fees at $200 a half hour. 


This happens because the food is cooked based on the window demand. The cooking equipment is shut down 30 minutes ahead of departure to begin cooling for safety reasons. If the cooking equipment must be started back up it can add 30-60 minutes to our time on site. Doing so will come at a cost to the event and push you over your planned budget.


It's common for the host to be preoccupied with entertaining and not have the opportunity to dine themselves. It's best for the host to advise us in advance of how many meals they would like set aside for their enjoyment later. We will gladly prepare these dishes and provide them during the course of service. 


It's very common for private events to be conducted in a public area such as a park, etc. If this is the case you may want to use a ticket program. Guests with a ticket will be served and those without a ticket will be advised it is a private event. Advise us in advance if you would like to use a ticket program. It is the host's responsibility to provide the tickets and distribute them to their guests.


Note: Ticket programs can also be used if the host would like to control the number of meals. Experience has shown guests will return to our truck two or three times to taste our delicious food. If there are more than one truck guests will dine at both trucks. If that is a concern by all means advise us you will be using a ticket program.


What can happen, and does happen, is we run out of a particular entree. For instance if we are planning on 60 guests and there are three entrees being served we will prepare approximately 25 servings of each entree. If a particular entree is having a hot streak we can run out of it. As the host, if you are aware a particular entree will be a favorite of your guests please let us know so we can lean heavier on that particular entree.


As exciting as it is to have the food truck at your event, the cost involved doesn't always fit into people's budget. In those cases we suggest taking advantage of our catering services.
