The Ahi Buzz's uses is caught in the waters of Hawaii, where other providers use cheaper sources caught in Vietnam, or other waters, using less ethical fishing methods and lower standards. Buzz's fish is MSC and FIP approved because our āina depends on us to try harder.

The most authentic Poke consists of four basic ingredients, the fish (typically Ahi), limu (seaweed), alaea salt (Hawaiian Sea Salt) and Sweet onion.
At Buzz's Hawaiian Grill we're so committed to providing the best poke in St. Louis that we not only bring our Ahi in from Honolulu, we also source our Red Ogo seaweed in from the north shore of Oahu. It's legit Braddah.

Purchasing poke by the pound is the most common way you'll find poke in the islands. Locals purchase poke from popular markets like Foodland, Tamura's in Hau'ula, or Umeke's on the Big island.
So it's no surprise Buzz's offers poke by the pound as well. You can also get it in half pound sizes.
